SaDiablo Hall, Dhemlan, Kaeleer

Because of the time-shift in Kaeleer, the portal the would bring them back to school for seven in the morning, Fandom time, wouldn't actually arrive to get them until around two in the afternoon, Kaeleer time. Which meant that there was still one more day to wander the Hall and plenty of time to say good-bye.

The folks from Fandom have pretty much been given a wing to themselves. Karla is in her usual suite, over in the family wing, but everyone else is close by.

Family Wing

Where Karla's room is, as well as Morton's, Jaenelle's, Saetan's and Lucivar's.

Unless you're with a family member (or one has sent word of your arrival), you probably will be politely but firmly asked to return to a more public section of the Hall.

Breakfast Nook

Since it was their last day, Mrs. Beale went all out on the brunch buffet. Handwavy Foods from all over Kaeleer made an appearance. It would be available from early morning until right before the portal showed up.

Azula entered to grab a quick bite to eat there were still a few things she still wanted to see.

Saetan's Study

The High Lord's private sanctum. The door was open today, inviting in anyone who wished to see him. Though Saetan was planning on spending a fair amount of time around the Hall, too, saying goodbye.

Walk and gossip. Pick flowers. Get down in the dirt and garden. Whatever suits your style.

Tara found some bushes in bloom and picked a large armload of pink, daisy-like flowers to bring back to Fandom with her. Their perfume seemed likely to make her whole room smell wonderful.

The gardens were something 'Dite had not yet taken the time to admire, and for the goddess of love and beauty, that just seemed wrong to her. So, with their portal due within an hour or two, she had wandered through, finding a place to sit and enjoy both the fragrance and the view. She couldn't have named the flowers around her, but she'd remember them, and that was all that counted.

Besides, it was a quiet place to practice her shields and powers without endangering anyone else.

"Glass . . . of . . . water." She held out her hand and concentrated. Finally, both glass and water appeared. Separately. "Ohhh -- balls!"

The stables

There are no unicorns present (though Kaetien has a stall all to himself for when he is in residence), just horses. It might be a bit of a let-down to ride one after yesterday, but they are available.

It was only a short walk to Hathaway, but Lucivar had felt like riding into town anyway. It might have had something to do with the number of times Dinah had kicked him in the knee during their spar--not that he'd admit that aloud to anyone.

Now, of course, his horse (and his companion's) were tied up outside the tavern. "The ale here is good," he said, signaling the witch behind the tavern. "Not particularly strong, but flavorful. Meatpie?"

Lucivar was getting at least three for himself.

Of course Ben had to get in sure, let's say another practice. He wanted to have something new to show Anakin when they returned.

Practice Area

Lucivar was still here, drilling students in Eyrien sticks or working out with his war blade. Karla and Jaenelle were also present, though with much less ill-grace than before.

Savannah was in the practice area, going through some of the moves that Lucivar had taught her. She also decided that she was definitely going to get a staff when she got back home so that she could keep up these practices.

Jack wasn't foolish enough to imagine he could keep up with the war blade, but he found a spot on the edge of the practice area to watch anyhow. It never hurt to know a little about everything.

Again, thank you so much to everyone who came along and played in this! I appreciate it so much.

And a double-plus extra-good thank you to everyone who helped out with the NPCs. This wouldn't have happened without your assistance and I am so very grateful for it.

Anyway, just wanted to get this up for any last goodbyes and will be back to answer pings in all posts in a few hours.
