OOC: Announcement and Apology

glacial_queenThe quick thing first, I was one of those people who lost access to their Yahoo account for awhile and switched over to gmail. Unfortunately, someone else had already grabbed shadowravyn, which makes things a little difficult, but as of a few weeks ago, I settled into my new email account of booksomewench at gmail dot com. I'm still periodically checking yahoo, now that I can get into it again, but those periodic checkings are getting much less frequent and it's easy to lose things under the piles of spam that are ignored by the filter (which is why I didn't just set it up to forward things directly. I had about 250 spam messages in my inbox from the weekend alone). I'm not sure how much longer I'll continue to bother with it, so please make sure any future emails are sent to gmail. I've updated Karla, Cindy, and Trick's profiles, so they should all now show the proper email address, but I wanted to make sure this change was documented where people were likely to see it, too.

unburnt_queen (to whom I now owe a huge debt of gratitude for pointing it out) that the bodyswap post really needed a cut tag and a trigger warning. That it needed those and did not have them was entirely my fault and I apologize to everyone in game who saw it and read it without them. When it comes to posts like this, there should always be a choice whether you want to read it or not, and without cut tags and warnings, you did not have the chance to make that choice. It was a mistake, a major one, and I am truly sorry if anyone was hurt, offended, upset, or experienced any other negative emotions as a result of my carelessness. It will not happen again, I promise you that.
The post in question is now f-locked, cut, and warned for, and has the same apology written on it as I wrote above. This way, anyone backreading will be aware and warned, but like my email change, I also wanted to make sure that everyone had a chance to see it and not have it buried several entries back.
Again, I'm so very sorry that the post lacked the appropriate warnings, especially with the topic being sensitive. I will be much more vigilant about these things in the future.
